![]() ![]() The server provides framerate and frametime monitoring support to the client applications. That is why I prefer working with my most recent scores with the most recent changes and making a COPY of one, and deleting all the music and using that as a new score.Īnd frankly Cooper, it's less trouble than setting up a brand new score, which is not a one step process :-) So if I update a single thing in the engraving rules in a score I am working on, the Manuscript Paper that I've previously saved has to be deleted and re-saved if I want the updates in the new Manuscript Paper. It is the same as the Manuscript Paper provided by Sibelius in this respect it will have all the same settings and instruments on it 10 years from now as today. The Manuscript Paper stays the same period, which means it is not as flexible. I just add or delete instruments at my leisure. If you have a score with the same (or near same) instrumentation, the markings you make in Engraving Rules will stay as in screenshot. The first method I described works as I had hoped. ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted by Richard Vitale - 06 Oct 06:01AM (edited 06 Oct 06:02AM) Which brings us back to the question, can I just edit the current house styles to all include the Engraving Rule of parentheses around cautionary accidentals? The last one, I've thought about (in fact, I want to create my own house style completely), but when writing for different styles and groups, I am going to want to choose from the manuscript paper (and corresponding house style) that is already there in Sibelius, because (as I understand it) they each have their own slight differences that go best with each style/group. (I don't want to have to worry about changing the engraving rules every time I start a new score.) If I understand correctly, the first two both require doing something every time I start a new score, which defeats the purpose of what I'm trying to do. ![]()
